Champion of Champions
The third of 1999 at. 19.00 in the Wintergarden at Grand Hotel in Stockholm, Anton was invited to take part in the great event of Champion of Champions along with 34 other beautiful dogs, all breed.
Champion of Champions is a contest were the top show dogs of Sweden are invited. Anton was this year one of them as he had won 8 group wins that year. Anton also won: Top Basenji of 1998 in Sweden so it was a perfect ending to for him to take part in this glamour show. A show named Champion of Champions!
The contest is by lottery compete in pairs. One dog of the two wins over the other and goes on to the next round. And so on until it is only one dog left and that one is then the Champion of Champions!
The space on the stage is limited so its not easy to show off a mover. Three judges are doing the selection and everything is happening in at very fast tempo.
It all was over before it began and we were one experience richer!! The winner of Champion of Champions that year was a good friend of ours!!
